Self Portrait Tuesday #1

I had a phase of drawing self-portraits about. . . oooh. . twenty years ago!
I'm taking advantage of this SPT blogging tradition to spur me into drawing again. The pencil felt fat in my fingers. Familiar and awkward.
I look pretty mean. I never did go in for flattery; this picture's earnest face is a combination of concentration and not wearing glasses, which always provokes a certain squinting.
I wouldn't normally show a picture like this but I've admired others exposing their everyday experiments, not just what they are pleased with. I've been doing a lot of "looking at myself" recently; a turbulent life. Perhaps self-portraits can mirror this search and I can document an evolution.

Even if you are not satisfied with this drawing, I still think it is a strong line (traço, em português, como marca de carácter...) you have there! It was worth sharing it here.

But above all, I love the attitude! ;-)
