DIY Progress

Here is the progress of my "Portuguese tile" quilt. I've come to the end of my linen skirt that are the dark blue segments of the patchwork. This isn't a problem as I always intended that there should be tile "repairs", like these photos where tiles of other patterns are used to stop the whole structure unravelling. They always remind me of capped teeth, or gold crowns. So I will select another tile motif to burst in the middle of this regemented pattern. I'm enjoying choosing.
