This is the poster for Ruben's School Barn Dance. I drew the characters a la Rosie Flo colouring books. Hopefully all 450 kids will be given a copy to colour in. I'm very curious to see what manifests. Will they be returned? Will there be rude ones with willies? How much differnce can be made from a single starting point? On the evening of the dance they'll be displayed on the walls.
In Ruben's version the boy seems to be wearing a familiar suit.
The sunshine has been a blessing. Londoners seem lighter, though urgent with the need to "get out side, grab the sun". Because we know the clouds and nights are closing in.
