Last night I found Ruben sat infront of the sewing machine snapping the foot up and down, twiddling all the knobs, then making "brrrmm" sounds like he was driving a combine harvester. "I'm making a quilt, look I've already made two" he works fast. I saw some bags that I was working on with big scissor hacks into them. Oh well. It least he hadn't been able to reach the peddle. So I gave him some scraps he could cut up and left him on the floor. Below is his finished piece. The dumper truck was the iron.

Having finally bought some calico for the foundation, I was about to sew up the black and red patchwork I thought I'd finished.
One square is missing. I think I've got to have a chat with Ruben.
