I'm going to do a sewing activity with the kids at Ruben's nursery in the next couple of weeks, together with another mum. And it might become something regular. We're thinking of making toys out of socks: mice, fish, octopus... with a bit of sewing, stuffing and perhaps gluing the details. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for sewing activities for 3-4 year olds, or recommendations of how to go about it. We'll just be sat at a table with space for about 4-5 kids at a time and it's up to them if the want to join in, so quite informal. Ideas, links and shared experiences very much appreciated!
Also looking forward to taking Ruben on his first cinema trip this weekend to see this collection of animated shorts, part of the wonderful offerings at the London Children's Film Festival at various cinemas around town.
